Pride-Themed Cocktail Feature ‘Raye Sunshine’ at Juke Fried Chicken
Friday, August 2 to Monday, August 5
In honour of Vancouver’s Pride Festival weekend, Juke Chinatown (182 Keefer Street) and Little Juke (1074 Davie Street) will offer a feature cocktail custom created by @bitterqueens. Inspired by and named after popular Canadian drag queen and friend of Juke’s, the ‘Raye Sunshine’ mingles Cointreau, Odd Society bittersweet vermouth, grapefruit juice and sparkling wine for a swoon-worthy Pride sipper. The cocktail will be offered for $9 exclusively for Pride weekend with partial proceeds from each cocktail being donated directly to Rainbow Refugee, a local community group that supports people seeking refugee protection in Canada because of persecution based on sexual orientation, gender identity, gender expression or HIV status.
