Provence Marinaside opens a grocery store and introduces a Moscow Mule Kit

This Week at Provence Marinaside –
Chef Sheldon opens an on-line Grocery Store
and
Provence introduces a Moscow Mule Cocktail Kit

In the month since self-isolation started restaurants have had to innovate to survive. Provence Marinaside is no exception – it started with the introduction of its Takeout Menu of prepared dishes, followed by its popular French Food Made Easy Kits so you can cook your favourite Provence dishes at Home.  Daily Happy Hour specials on wines came next.

This week Provence’s Chef de Cuisine, Sheldon Maloff, has launched an online Grocery Store. You can order staples, ingredients and essentials from Chef Sheldon’s private store and pick up at the restaurant. The shop contains a selection of Fresh Produce (including fruit, vegetables and fresh herbs), Dairy items (including BC artisan cheeses, milk, butter, eggs and cream), Dry Goods (including hard-to-get flour, pasta, snacks and sugar), Meat /Poultry and Seafood plus a Miscellaneous section where you can find things like coffee (beans and ground), various types of tea, yeast (a rare commodity these days), toilet paper (another hard-to-find-item), and par-baked baguettes and focaccia.

In addition to its popular French Food Made Easy Kits (Prawns Provençal, Fennel-Crusted Lois Lake Steelhead and Oven-Roasted Half Chicken Provençal) Provence is now offering a Moscow Mule Kit in the Grocery Store Kits Section so you can make your own cocktails at home. The kit comes complete with all you need to make this popular cocktail –  a 750ml bottle of Stolichnaya Vodka, a six-pack of Gosling’s Ginger Beer, six  limes, two Stolichnaya copper mugs and more than enough ice.

Bon Appetit!
