ALOHA TO GO: HONOLULU COFFEE REOPENS DOWNTOWN, KERRISDALE CAFES FOR PICKUP, DELIVERY SERVICE FIVE DAYS A WEEK

Signature Drinks, Baked Goods and More Available Via Phone, Uber Eats, Doordash

Fans of Honolulu Coffee Vancouver can get their island breeze back now that the local café has reopened its downtown (888 Nelson Street) and Kerrisdale (2098 W. 41st Avenue) locations and have made its signature drinks, baked goods and more available for pickup, takeout and delivery.

Honolulu Coffee’s new ‘Aloha to Go’ offerings feature an array of warm-weather favourites like iced Hawaiian lattes, açaí bowls, cold brew and fresh-fruit smoothies, fresh-baked baked pastries, cookies and sandwiches, and additional items like its housemade granola, lilikoi dressing and bbq rub. For the at-home ‘barista’, both locations also feature essentials such as bags of Kona-grown and -roasted coffee beans, tins of chai and matcha tea and home-brewing equipment.

The Nelson location — which celebrates its fourth anniversary this year — will be open Mondays to Fridays from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., while the Kerrisdale café will open Tuesdays through Saturdays from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. Both locations will allow customers to phone in orders for pickup as well as for takeout and delivery through Uber Eats (Kerrisdale and Nelson) and Doordash and will temporarily not be accepting cash payments or personal mugs.

“We’ve always taken great care to observe all health protocols at our cafes, but we’re being extra mindful about social distancing guidelines to ensure the continued safety of our staff and customers,” says Owner Ming Yang. “We can’t wait to wish all of our loyal Vancouver ohanaAloha’ again!”
