Who says a practical gift is not a good gift? No one who wants to spend less time doing housework! Especially now that we are spending more of our waking hours at home, we want our environment to reflect our true selves.

This year the focus has truly been about home improvement and one of the things we can do to improve our homes is to improve how we do the dreaded housework. In my household most chores are shared, maybe not always as equitible as they could be but, hey, he tries!

When I was asked if I would like to try the Rolls Royce of vacuum cleaners I couldn’t say ‘yes’ fast enough. This weekend we finally had some time to get to know the Pure One S12 Pro EX. Both hubby and I figured out quickly how to put everything together and familiarize ourselves with all the fabulous accessories and features.

I really do love it! Yes it’s a vacuum but it is also a time saver and I also love that ‘clean house’ feeling I get after I’ve finished all my housework knowing my house is company ready.

My Saturday housework became more of a pleasure. I confess I already had a name brand cordless vacuum purchased from a department store, on sale. It works pretty good but I was not nearly as impressed as I expected. It’s noisy, came with very few accessories. Most disappointing it didn’t include a bare floor brush and my home is 90% bare floors and 10% area rugs, it is an accessory I could really use but at almost $300. just for that add-on it wasn’t going to happen.

I use the main Direct-drive LED multi-tasker power brush for almost all my spaces like the bathroom tile floor and the slate entry foyer. The full-size LED soft-roller power brush is a dream on my hardwood floors.
