Ampersand is a family-owned and operated distillery. Ramona Froehle-Schacht, the mother behind the magic, manages the five-acre organic farm where the distillery lies. She grows berries, rows crops and tends to the large greenhouses. Her overall support has led the company to great success and her family is so very appreciative of her loving contributions.
Jessica Schacht, Ramona’s daughter-in-law and mastermind behind all things recipe-related became a mother last year. Jessica and Ramona not only get to work closely together in business, but can now share the experience of motherhood in their everyday lives. This special family dynamic has contributed to amazing spirits like Ampersand Gin being created and crafted out of love and family tradition.
