TOURISM VANCOUVER’S LOVE BUBBLES ARE BACK WITH A NEW SUMMER LOOK!
Free outdoor ambient experience, designed to pop up around downtown Vancouver for the month of June
Tourism Vancouver’s popular outdoor ambient experience, Love Bubbles, is back for the month of June with a new summer look! In partnership with the Westin Bayshore Hotel and Hudson Pacific Properties, the new Love Bubbles will feature activations designed to spread joy and love through dance and music, by highlighting local, talented, and culturally diverse dancers and musicians at various sites around the downtown core.
This unique experience invites passers-by to discover the Love Bubbles at the following locations and dates:
Westin Bayshore Hotel:
June 26 and June 27 at 11:00am – 1:00pm and 7:30pm – 9:30pm
June 28 – June 30 at 4:00pm – 6:00pm and 7:30-9:30pm
Tourism Vancouver has been working with Small Stage – a local dance production and creation company – to bring vitality to public spaces through live dance and music. Each activation will showcase a wide diversity of styles, genres and cultures chosen to reflect the depth and breadth of Vancouver’s unique dance and music community, including Flamenco, Persian, Chinese, Hip Hop, Contemporary and Classical and many more.
On June 21st, 2021, National Indigenous Peoples Day, Francis James, Elder and Leader of Smokey Valley and Xwelmexw Shxwexwo:s (Salish Thunderbird) will lead audiences through a variety of Indigenous Dances at the Love Bubbles at the Dunsmuir Patio at the Bentall Centre. He will be sharing history through song and dance of the coastal and river people of the Pacific Northwest and the Salish Sea.
Tourism Vancouver launched #LoveVancouver earlier this year to inspire residents to rediscover our world-renowned city and the incredible experiences available right here at home. Show your love for Vancouver by tagging @Inside_Vancouver on Instagram and #LoveVancouver
