The menu includes new twists on holiday favourites including: cauliflower veloute with smoked ham, shaved burgundy truffle, gorgonzola and pomegranate reduction and scrumpy cider-brined turkey breast with a turkey thigh ballotine.

Those searching for turkey and all of the fixings while in between flights or coming in and out of Vancouver can enjoy Globe@YVR’s Harvest Dinner To-Go, available for up to ten people.

Fairmont Hotel Vancouver (Vancouver)
Guests can spend more time with loved ones while Fairmont Hotel Vancouver takes care of the rest. The Turkey Dinner To-Go provided by the Notch8 culinary team serves up to ten and includes a whole roasted Fraser Valley turkey, all the traditional fixings and a number of optional add-ons. Orders must be made online by 5:00pm and it is recommended to order in advance as Notch8’s turkey dinners to-go typically sell out.

For those looking to get out of their sweats and indulge, Notch8 is also offering a three-course traditional turkey dinner. This festive dining experience includes butternut squash soup, roasted Fraser Valley turkey with all the trimmings and a sweet finish of house made pumpkin cheesecake. Reservations are required with seatings available Sunday, October 10 and Monday, October 11.

Brunch lovers can enjoy pumpkin-spiced buttermilk pancakes, apple pie spiced french toast and turkey benedict at the Thanksgiving Brunch at Notch8. Reservations are required for Sunday October 10th.

Fairmont Pacific Rim (Vancouver)
For a wow culinary experience at one of Canada’s best restaurants, guests are invited to give thanks at Botanist with a three-course Thanksgiving brunch. The experience begins with a glass of sparkling wine, followed by a hand-crafted cocktail (spirit-free options also available), meant to sip while diving into autumn-themed dishes created by Chef Hector Laguna. Guests can choose from a variety of starters such as homemade burrata salad with salt roasted beets or hand-cut beef tartare with smoked egg yolk, followed by a selection of mains like the slow roasted turkey with roasted fall vegetables and traditional gravy or a carving of prime rib with pomme purée and horseradish cream and ending with a warm brioche pudding with poached cranberries and thyme caramel or the bittersweet chocolate praline fondant with a crispy hazelnut crust. This Thanksgiving brunch menu is available October 9 and reservations are required.

Fairmont Waterfront (Vancouver)
For a new way to enjoy brunch with truly endless culinary offerings, ARC Restaurant is offering a bottomlessThanksgiving brunch. Guests will enjoy the abundance of the season with a variety of unlimited brunch specialties, such as the waffles with rhubarb compote, Croque Madames and turkey skillets. Reservations are required with seatings available on Saturday, October 9 through Monday October 11th.

For a home-style Thanksgiving dinner, guests can let ARC Restaurant’s culinary team do the cooking (and the dishes). This four-course festive dining experience features all of the traditional favourites, from nutty squash bisque with toasted pecans and nutmeg cream to pumpkin spiced sticky toffee pudding with vanilla bean ice cream. Reservations are required.

Fairmont Empress (Victoria)
The culinary team at Fairmont Empress is offering a complete “hot and ready to serve” Turkey Dinner To-Go for those looking to make this year’s Thanksgiving a stress-free weekend. This decadent spread serves up to ten and includes a whole roasted herb-brined free run turkey, as well as festive favourites like mashed yukon gold potatoes with turkey gravy and sourdough-sage stuffing. Orders must be made online by October 6, with pick-up available on Sunday, October 10 and Monday, October 11.

For those looking to get out of the house this Thanksgiving, Q at the Empress has created a traditional three-course holiday menu that includes the best of autumn flavours. Diners will start with farro & flax bread with Empress honey butter and butternut squash & apple bisque, followed by a choice of an entrée such as roasted free run turkey with all the trimmings or salmon and spinach coulibiac with baby beets and Dungeness crab mousseline, ending with a maple pecan tart with caramel crémeux and bourbon. Reservations are required.

ALBERTA

Fairmont Hotel Macdonald (Edmonton)
