#FavouriteThings Holiday Gift Suggestions | Purdys Chocolatier

“In this series we bring you our #FavouriteThings Holiday Gift Suggestions which we personally recommend”

It’s Beginning to Taste A Lot Like Christmas

While Fall may have just started, we know that in the blink of an eye the Holiday season will be upon us once again. This year, Purdys Chocolatier is focused on reconnecting Canadians and sparking joy this year as we learn to navigate the holidays again. What better way to reunite with our loved ones and celebrate traditions – both old and new –  than to indulge in some delicious chocolate?

This holiday season, Purdys Chocolatier is bringing back their Dear Santa Christmas Campaign, an initiative that uses a portion of proceeds from their Dear Santa Bar to help local children’s hospitals across Canada provide the best care to patients and their families. This year, the campaign has evolved to give customers online the option to direct their donations to one of Purdys seven hospital partners.

Purdys Hospital Partners: SickKids Foundation, BC Children’s Hospital Foundation, Alberta Children’s Hospital Foundation, Stollery Children’s Hospital Foundation, Jim Pattison Children’s Hospital Foundation, Children’s Hospital Foundation of Manitoba and Children’s Hospital of Eastern Ontario.

This year, Purdys has a goal of raising $200,000 for their hospital partners by selling 100,00 Dear Santa Bars.

Winter Village Hanging Advent Calendar ($23): This Christmas, you can add your own special touch to your advent calendar! Once you finish folding your village and packing each box with a piece of tasty chocolate, you can arrange it however you please! Display it proudly on a table, string it as a garland, or hang each one on the tree as a delicious decoration. Whichever way you and your family decide, it will be the perfect holiday memory. Made with sustainable cocoa.

Vegan Advent Calendar ($25): A delicious vegan (and sustainable) option that will be sure to please everyone on your list, with individually wrapped pieces of decadent vegan dark chocolate that leave you with guilt-free satisfaction. Made with sustainable cocoa.

Dear Santa Bar ($5): With $2 from the sale of each bar going towards supporting children’s hospital foundations across the country, this is chocolate you can definitely feel good about! Purdy and their customers have previously raised over $164,000 for Children’s Hospitals in Canada. This year, Purdys has a goal of surpassing last year’s donations by selling over 100,000 bars! Made with sustainable cocoa.

Peppermint Bark ($18): How do you know it’s Christmas time? Purdys Peppermint Bark returns! This creamy white chocolate is loaded with crunchy candy cane bits, and topped with the perfect drizzle of dark chocolate.

For mint and truffle lovers, Purdys is bringing back other favourites including Candy Cane Truffles and Layer Mints. Made with sustainable cocoa.
