2012 SOUTHERN CROSS
Tasting Notes
This blend of Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot has aged beautifully for 10 years. The palate has integrated oak and silky tannins from the older oak barrels used in the ageing of the wine.
This wine has poise, balance and structure. It is a blend of Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot sourced from Oliver, BC
Dark garnet in colour and slightly lighter towards the rim. Rich, ripe, dark berries and the oak is gentle on the nose.
The palate has integrated oak and silky tannins from the older oak barrels used in the aging of the wine. It compliments the soft berry compote flavours. The acidity balances the wine, and the soft dark fruit lingers on the aftertaste.
Aged to perfection so enjoy it now. Limited quantity available!

Where Family Matters
The Slamka family planted their first vineyard in 1969 with the intention of selling grapes to large commercial wineries. By 1996, the three Slamka sons had established their own winery. Today, family plays a large part in every bottle of wine produced. From the vines to your glass, we hope you enjoy.
Cheers!
