Railtown Catering Presents An Effortless Yet Heartfelt Option This Valentine’s
Lobster, truffles, foie gras, beef tenderloin – oh, and effortless – Railtown’s Valentine’s Day to-go is a stunner.
Chef and Co-owner of Railtown Catering, Dan Olson, curates an opulent option for a romantic evening at home without any mess and stress.
Olson’s no stranger to setting the table for romantic evenings; his experience includes Michelin-starred posts and senior positions at some of the world’s most celebrated hotels, including the Beverly Hills Hotel and the iconic Hotel Bel-Air. This latest offering showcases his in-depth knowledge of French fare, the perfect cuisine for romance.
“This set allows couples to make the most of their time while enjoying a restaurant-quality option that’s hassle-free,” shares Olson. “I love cooking in this style; if you’re missing the flavors of France and romantic trips abroad, this one’s for you,” he adds.
Railtown Catering’s five-course menu comes completely ready to eat. Menu highlights include a packed with flavour Duck Consommé complete with foie gras ravioli, Jerusalem artichoke and black winter truffles. A standout Warm Lobster Salad with classic Thermidor garnish is herbed with sweet and ocean-like salsify. To finish, a heart-shaped Strawberry & Rose Saint Honore blushes with Valentine’s colours and promises to satisfy those with a sweet tooth.
Railtown Catering offers a variety of add-on options to assist customers with checking off their Valentine’s to-do list, including wine pairings, floral arrangements ($85.00), Cheese & Charcuterie ($30.00) and a Mezze Platter ($30.00).

Railtown Catering’s Valentine’s package is available for $229.00 (vegetarian option $199.00), each package serves two people.

Meals will be available for pickup from 397 Railway Street, February 13-14 between 11:00am – 4:00pm.
