We are sharing not one, but two new wines. First off: Clos du Soleil Syrah 2020. That’s right… It’s back! And just in time for cooler Fall evenings. We’ve also got the newest vintage of our iconic flagship white blend, Capella 2021. This beautiful wine is a perennial award winner, just perfect for ushering out the summer.
Both wines are now available in the Clos du Soleil online store, and remember: we continue to offer free shipping on orders of 6+ bottles (mixed cases allowed) to all BC and AB addresses, with nominal shipping fees everywhere else.
In other news, we are also thrilled to once again be hosting a Winemaker’s Dinner, this time in partnership with Hydra Estiatorio Mediterranean & Bar in Vancouver. Keep reading for details, but act fast: tickets are limited!

CLOS DU SOLEIL SYRAH 2020
New Release
Clos du Soleil Syrah has to be one of the most requested wines in our portfolio. Which is why we’re so excited to announce that it’s back!
TASTING NOTES:
Nose: Freshly crushed raspberries, plums and violets, complemented with subtle notes of baking spice and sagebrush.
Palate: Wild raspberries and dark forest fruit, accented with black currants and chocolate, and notes of spice.
CLOS DU SOLEIL CAPELLA 2021
New Vintage
Capella 2020 sold out really fast this year, but luckily we had our 2021 vintage ready to go!
TASTING NOTES:
Nose: Intense aromas of grapefruit, beeswax, lime zest, and meadow grasses.
Palate: Lemon and lime and ripe grapefruit, with notes of peach and apricot, all tied together with bright, crisp citrus acidity. A lovely saline minerality strings it all together, through to the very long finish.
