The Breeze Restaurant reveals June 2, 2026, opening date

Sechelt’s newest waterfront destination will be home to a
waterfront restaurant, suites, an event space, and rooftop patio.

The countdown is on! The Breeze Restaurant officially announces its grand opening on Tuesday, June 2, 2026, bringing an exciting new waterfront dining experience to TELUS Marina in Sechelt. Set against breathtaking marina and ocean views, The Breeze is poised to become the Sunshine Coast’s newest culinary hotspot — where vibrant flavours, fresh local ingredients, and unforgettable hospitality come together.

Led by Head Chef Jack Chen, the menu celebrates the very best of the coast with seasonal, locally sourced dishes, pristine seafood, and fresh produce from trusted local partners including Heart and Sol Coastal Farm, Grounded Acres Organic Farm, 63 Acres Premium BC Beef, and Rossdown Farms & Natural Foods.

“Every dish and drink has been designed to celebrate our community and the incredible ingredients found right here on the Sunshine Coast,” says Head Chef Jack Chen. “Whether guests are joining us for lunch, sunset cocktails on the rooftop, weekend brunch, or a memorable dinner by the marina, we want every experience at The Breeze to feel vibrant, welcoming, and uniquely coastal.”

Overseeing The Breeze is General Manager David Kenny, a longtime hospitality heavyweight who began working in the dining scene in Melbourne, Australia at just 15 years old. Since that time, David has built a reputation as a General Manager who balances rigorous operational standards with a genuine heart for service. David relocated to the Sunshine Coast in 2025 and as a key leader at The Breeze, he brings over two decades of international experience to the table.
