Golden straw with medium-minus intensity.  Banana, lemon zest, yellow apple, some tree fruit, tropical fruit, almond, minerality and salinity on the nose.  Good balance with a creamy texture.  Bright and crisp on the palate with the flavours following the nose, especially banana and pineapple.  A slightly toasty medium-plus finish with citrus flavours lingering.
Serve with white fish, crab, or lobster.

Golden yellow with medium-minus intensity.  The nose is unmistakably Sauvignon Blanc, with aromas of flint, minerality, herbaceous notes, gooseberry, and citrus.  Very good balance with flavours echoing the nose, followed by a medium-long finish.  An elegant and harmonious nod to Sancerre.  Serve with white fish or shellfish.

2022 Meritage
Fort Berens
Lillooet, BC
$30.00
Fort Berens has been one of BC’s rising stars for several years and has gained a loyal fan following.  This vintage is a blend of 70% Merlot, 19% Cabernet Franc, and 11% Cabernet Sauvignon.  Garnet red with medium-deep intensity.  Fruity and inviting, with aromas of dark berries, beetroot, cherries, a touch of coconut, spice, and pencil shavings.  Very good balance with lots of body.  The flavours mirror the nose, followed by a medium-plus finish.  Good now and will be even better with some cellaring.  A good match for Bolognaise, chilli, lamb, or barbecued burgers.

2022 Syrah
Winemaker’s CUT
Oliver, BC
$37.00
Garnet red with medium-deep intensity.  Blackberry, blueberry, graphite, toast, black currant, a touch of black pepper, plum, a hint of chocolate and savoury notes on the nose.  Well balanced with smooth ripe tannins.  The flavours reflect the nose, followed by a medium-plus finish.  Improves noticeably with time to breathe.  Serve this with a charcuterie platter, including peppered salami and aged hard cheeses.
