Beginning March 8, weekends at H Tasting Lounge pay tribute to Jules Verne’s Around the World in 80 Days, following in the footsteps of the legendary Phileas Fogg. Experience faraway lands through the flavours of tea and an enchanting selection of sweet and savoury treats — where tradition takes a backseat to adventure.
Rather than the usual finger sandwiches, this globally inspired experience reimagines afternoon tea with bold and unexpected flavours. Savour a delicate pastel macaron reminiscent of Paris in the Moulin Rouge era, or indulge in the bold spices of a chocolate cardamom cake inspired by the vibrant streets of Bombay. Experience Italy with a decadent cacio e pepe risotto, be transported by Egyptian-inspired pastries, or take a virtual trip to Hong Kong with a deconstructed pork spring roll. Elevate your journey with fine Champagne by the glass or bottle, or explore an exquisite selection of black, white, green, oolong, and herbal teas from O-Five Rare Tea and Tea Leaves.
A delightful menu for children will also be available — featuring fluffy cotton candy, tasty scones, bite-sized tea sandwiches, irresistible s’mores pie, and more.

The Secret Garden at the H Tasting Lounge
The Secret Garden has been crafted in and around the clear, cozily appointed outdoor domes — a signature feature of H Tasting Lounge — reimagined for 2025 with the whimsy of vintage air travel in mind. From March 5 to May 11, take a spring voyage to this dreamy, imagination-sparking landscape where pastel-hued hot air balloons float overhead, cascading floral garlands drape from above, and flower-adorned archways invite you in. Within your own private sanctuary, you’ll be enveloped in a soft, ethereal glow, surrounded by the fresh blooms and delicate pastels of spring. Each panoramic dome is equipped with a sound system, adjustable heaters, and everything needed for up to six guests to dine in comfort.
At lunch or in the evening, savour artfully crafted cocktails and exquisite modern-coastal cuisine while taking in sweeping waterfront views. Indulge in coastal delights such as albacore tuna salad, char-grilled Pacific octopus or crispy Humboldt squid. Coastal mains include Haida Gwaii halibut and sablefish, or a West Coast seafood paella. For those craving something heartier, options include a decadent A5 Wagyu steak, tender boneless short ribs, the signature HTL Smash Burger, and more. Cocktails offer original uniquely inspired creations like the vodka-based Little Green Island, alongside reimagined classics such as the foamy Nitro Cosmo.
