House of Dawn Steakhouse is reinforcing its reputation as one of the city’s best steakhouses by introducing a Wagyu March feature that offers 20% off its selection of rare, mouth-watering Wagyu selections as well as new Weekday Signature Nights Features Mondays through Thursdays at the popular dining destination located in Richmond’s Brighouse community at 130-8171 Ackroyd Road.

 

Executive Chef and Culinary Director James Yang’s Wagyu March focus will take centre stage at the steakhouse throughout the month and feature 20% off House of Dawn’s extensive selection of Wagyu that includes A5 Japanese and Australian Wagyu as well as rotating selections of in-house premium cuts that include Ribeyes, New York Striploins, Tenderloins and Tomahawks.

 

The popular steakhouse is also showcasing a new series of curated dining experiences via its new Weekday Signature Nights Features program and includes:

 

Mondays: KOBE NIGHT — Guests can explore the beauty of authentic Japanese Kobe beef at House of Dawn (the first steakhouse in Richmond and only the third in Vancouver to have been awarded a prestigious Kobe beef certification) and enjoy a 4oz Kobe Striploin and glass of Prosecco for $99 per guest plus tax and gratuity.

 

  • Tuesdays: STEAK NIGHT — Every Tuesday, steak aficionados and purists can gather around the table with friends and family and enjoy 20% off all premium cuts from the House of Dawn menu.

 

  • Wednesdays: SURF & TURF FOR TWO NIGHT — Diners will be able to enjoy the best of land and sea every Wednesday at House of Dawn and savour a Surf & Turf For Two feature that includes a 10oz NY Striploin, 4oz Lobster Tail, 4 Jumbo Black Tiger Prawns, Drawn Butter, Creamy Mash, Asparagus and Demi Glace for $108 plus tax and gratuity.

 

  • Thursdays: SEAFOOD & BUBBLES NIGHT — Seafood and bubbles are a singular match, and every Thursday night guests will be able to sample freshly shucked Kumamoto Oysters served with house-made mignonette, house-fermented chili sauce and creamy horseradish and Jumbo Black Tiger Prawns for $3 each as well as glasses of Prosecco for $6 each.

 

House of Dawn opened its doors in 2025 and quickly became a guest favourite thanks to Yang’s desire to conjure a quintessential and classic steakhouse experience where precision and passion meet technique and tradition, and menus showcase the finest cuts and fresh ingredients from farm, field and ocean.

 

House of Dawn’s steak program showcases some of the best premium selections in the city, with Yang drawing upon his experience as a chef and butcher at Michelin-starred establishments such as Copenhagen’s Noma, Shanghai’s L’Atelier Joel Robuchon and New York’s acclaimed Peter Luger Steakhouse to import choice cuts of beef from farms across Canada, the U.S., Australia and Japan.

 

At House of Dawn, steak is elevated to an art form, with every cut French-trimmed and selected based on the highest standards of taste, tenderness and overall quality, grilled over Binchotan charcoal to infuse it with a subtle, smoky depth, and then finished in a Montague grill to achieve a signature crispy crust with a juicy, tender centre. All fresh-cut steaks are aged for a minimum of 30 days to enhance the juiciness and tenderness, and dry-aged selections are monitored under exacting conditions to ensure peak maturation and flavour development.

 

Among House of Dawn’s signature approaches to steak is a Dark Chocolate & Butter Dry Age technique — a hybrid technique where chefs dry age striploin for 28 days to concentrate flavour then encase it in butter or dark chocolate to mimic a wet-age environment which results in a luxuriously tender steak rich with complex notes and evenly restored moisture.
