It’s all about the laid back hazy, lazy, crazy days of summer for Red Rooster. Don’t believe me? Let Red Rooster tell you themselves.
A little adventurous, a little mischievous, and always genuine.
See I told you so. Also known as the New Red Rooster. The labels are new too, but the wine is still as good as before and I know you are going to love these three wines.
Red Rooster Pinot Noir 2025 VQA

Bright aromas of red cherry and wild raspberry lead into a silky palate layered with subtle notes of violet, baking spice, and dried cranberry. Fine tannins and vibrant acidity carry through to a long, elegant finish.
WINEMAKING
Fruit was sourced from select vineyards in the South Okanagan and East Kelowna. The grapes were handpicked and gently pressed. Fermented in stainless steel and co-inoculated for malolactic fermentation, with daily pump-overs to enhance colour and flavour extraction. Following pressing, each vineyard lot was aged individually before the final blend was assembled. The wines was aged partially in stainless steel and French oak for 5 months before bottling.

The finish is elegant and expressive, with lingering floral and fruit notes that highlight the wine’s vibrant, approachable character.
WINEMAKING
Grapes were sourced from select vineyards in the South Okanagan. The Pinot Noir was handled in a white wine style, with all three varietals cool-fermented in stainless steel to preserve their freshness and aromatics. The components were then carefully blended to achieve an ideal balance of flavour and acidity, followed by a period of rest in stainless steel alongside a single 500L neutral French oak puncheon, where gentle bâtonnage added subtle texture and complexity. The final blend brings these elements together into a distinctive, fruit-forward and floral expression.

Pair this wine with mixed green salads, mild softcheeses, roasted chicken, light oil based pastas, and charcuterie.
This is a take on Pinot that you don’t see too often. Glad to have had the opportunity to try this unique wine.
Subtle floral scents to start giving a hint of what is to come. Some light fruit behind the floral makes it interesting. The balanced acidity opens to a delicious stone fruit that has an unexpected bolder body than you might expect. Still it retains its fresh crispness with a lingering finish.

WINEMAKING
Fruit were selected from vineyards in both the North and South Okanagan as well as the Simlkameen Valley. Some of the juice spent a little extra time on the skins for added character, while the rest stayed cool—fermented and aged in stainless steel to keep things bright and fresh. Red Rooster
For over 25 years, Red Rooster has been calling the Naramata Bench home, making wines that are full of character, confidence, and a little bit of swagger. We take winemaking seriously, but we don’t take ourselves too seriously. Wine should be fun, after all.
From the scenic hills of the Naramata Bench, we craft wines that are approachable, expressive, and made for real life, the kind you open on a Tuesday just as happily as for a celebration. Thoughtfully made, never too serious, our wines are meant to be shared, talked about, and enjoyed.
At Red Rooster, we believe the best wines come from doing things the right way, trusting your instincts, and enjoying the ride. A little adventurous, a little mischievous, and always genuine — just like the people who drink them.
