Michelin Star Awarded AnnaLena Team Relaunches
Their There as All Day Breakfast & Lunch Restaurant
Still riding the high from the recent Michelin Star Awards, the AnnaLena team has relaunched Their There, a fan-favourite coffee shop & café on West 4th, as a full service, all day breakfast and lunch restaurant.
Chef-owner, Mike Robbins, created and oversaw the immensely popular brunch program at the former Oakwood Canadian Bistro on West 4th Avenue. Robbins, alongside Their There Executive Chef, Catherine Wong (Oakwood and AnnaLena alum), has created a new all day menu that is already turning heads.
“West 4th Avenue has always been a destination for awesome shopping and great brunch,” shares Jeff Parr, Their There’s Operations Manager. “To start the new year we decided to move to full service and expand our menu to properly showcase the skillset of Chef Catherine and her talented culinary team.”
Three styles of eggs Benedict on the menu act as a nod to the early days of the AnnaLena “Benedict Brunch” and fans of the Oakwood will not forget the signature Beef Brisket Hash. Hot Chicken and Cornbread Waffles are sure to quickly become an instant Their There classic.
Don’t panic! Their There will still be serving up their cult status mochi doughnuts, breakfast and fried chicken sandwiches, as well as the take away coffee bar. Their There’s coffee program is built around small, independent roasters, focusing on personal relationships with brands and showcasing seasonal single origin coffee from around the globe.
In the front of house, General Manager, Sam Thompson, formerly of AnnaLena, will be overseeing the bar and beverage programs. With over ten years of bar management experience, Sam will be developing an exciting cocktail and beverage program for the room that will also be available all day. “Expect fun, creative and innovative offerings to pair perfectly with the new menu items,” says Thompson.
Their There is open Tuesday through Sunday with full breakfast and lunch menu from 9am-3pm and Happy Hour from 3pm-5pm featuring the full line up of fried chicken sandwiches and a few snack and drink features.

Their There is an all day breakfast and lunch restaurant located in the heart of the Kitsilano’s shopping district on West 4th Avenue. Opened in 2018 by the team behind the Michelin Star awarded AnnaLena Restaurant team, Their There offers a full service restaurant along side a take away coffee, doughnut and sandwich program. Their There operates on a first come first serve basis.
