I really hope we soon move past the idea that the only time we can enjoy rose wine is in the spring and summer. Let me make my case with this compelling bottle of evidence. Beaumont Family Estate Winery is new to me but one taste of this rosé and I can promise you I’ll be back for more.
This family owned winery is located in the shadow of Mt. Boucherie and produces 100% certified organic wines. I recently tasted their Gewurztraminer, two rosés and a red blend called Heritage. I enjoyed all four but the Gamay rosé really jumped out from the moment I took in its beautiful aroma. It was a bowl of berries on the nose, almost jammy.
Then the taste took over and I was struck by the complexity of the wine. This is an intense rosé that lingers long after you take the first sip. It was a wild raspberry bush in a glass and who wouldn’t want to take in that flavour on a cold and wet wintery night. I am going to serve this twelve months of the year until I convince enough British Columbians to embrace my Rosé Party. I promise you my rosé campaign will be a lot more fun than your traditional political campaign. Kudos to Beaumont Winery for producing this stellar addition to B.C.’s rosé catalogue.

Welcome to My VanCity Ron. As another rosé lover, especially BC rosés, I enjoyed your article. I have tried the Beaufort rosé, but will keep an eye out for it.
Sign me up for the Rosé Party. At last, something to believe in.
Cheers,
Sam
