And then there were three. Marketplace Events, producer of the Vancouver Home + Design Show, today officially announced the trio of finalists vying for the title of Western Canada’s Next Home Stylist, in partnership with Urban Barn and Western Living. Starting today, Tijana Popovic (Vancouver, B.C.), Ryan Massel (Calgary, AB) and Christina Dennis (Stony Plain, AB) will compete in a series of three challenges in order to win the coveted title, plus a $1,000 Urban Barn shopping spree, media exposure across two provinces and the opportunity to appear on-stage at this fall’s home and design shows in Vancouver, Calgary and Edmonton.“We were extremely impressed with the responses received from across British Columbia and Alberta, and selecting our three finalists was no easy task,” said Jill Kivett, regional director for Marketplace Events. “Each of our finalists bring a unique blend of personality, tenacity and style to the table, and we would be lucky to have any of them take the stage at our home and design shows in Vancouver, Calgary and Edmonton this fall.”
Tijana Popovic from Vancouver, B.C. is the DIY frugalista behind the blog, Frugal Living Adventures. An experienced host, enthusiastic entertainer and fervent home décor lover, Tijana’s unique take on affordable design, keen eye for fashionable details and infectious outgoing personality are her secrets to success.
Ryan Massel from Calgary, AB, is all about feeling fabulous. The editor of I’m Mr. Fabulous, Ryan shares stories of travel, fashion, home décor and great eats with his tapped-in audience. A creative force and well-known local lifestyle industry name, Ryan is practiced at thinking outside the box, having a daring decorative touch and delivering the message to the interested public.
Christina Dennis from Stony Plain, AB is all about staying on-trend and in fashion without breaking the bank. A devoted mom, she founded The DIY Mommy as a platform to explore, perfect and share crafts for babies, moms and homes while offering a sneak peek at her (oh-so-stylish) personal life.The first of three challenges starts today, with public voting slated to begin on Monday, June 15 on the Home & Garden Events Facebook page.
