Quini ( www.quiniwine.com ) today announced that it has signed a data licensing, marketing and reseller agreement with Surrey, England-based Media Motives Limited, parent company and publisher of ukvine magazine and www.ukvine.com.
Under the agreement, Media Motives will market and sell Quini’s restaurant sales productivity enterprise software and wine industry data solutions in England. Media Motives will also promote Quini’s revolutionary wine tasting and rating standard and app across the region, and share its comprehensive UK wines database with Quini.
“Europe’s restaurant scene, deep appreciation for wine and appetite for technology is perfect ground for Quini’s unique wine intelligence restaurant solutions and sensory data,” said Quini’s chief executive officer, Roger Noujeim. “Media Motive’s experience and reach in key markets makes them an ideal partner for Quini. We look forward to a mutually beneficial partnership.”
“The business opportunity for Quini’s restaurant wine sales productivity and data solutions in England is significant,” said Daniel Manning, director, Media Motives Limited. “In addition, in a highly competitive space such as publishing, deploying Quini’s interactive tools further extends our market lead and advances our mission of helping to better inform and educate the UK wine enthusiast.”
A dynamic data feed from Quini will power interactive visual wine ratings and reviews on ukvine.com. Quini’s 0-100 point, 5-step wine tasting and rating standard will also be integrated into the site, using Quini’s API Platform.
Concludes Noujeim: “Our partnership with Media Motives and ukvine opens an important new market for Quini’s enterprise solutions while giving the UK wine consumer the ability to share their wine experiences using a common, transparent system anyone can understand and use.”
Wine lovers of all experience levels can now begin to rate UK wines directly on ukvine.com or using the Quini app on their mobile phone or tablet.
