Burdock & Co in the Country – Plant Based Dinner at Fraser Common Farm August 18

Chef Andrea Carlson (Burdock & Co and Harvest Community Foods)  is partnering up with Glorious Organics to host an alfresco farm-to-table feast in support of Fraser Common Farm in Langley, BC.

 

 

BC’s award-winning Chef Andrea Carlson will be creating a plant-based multi-course dinner featuring beautiful produce from Glorious Organics, named Producer of the Year in the 2019 Vancouver Magazine Restaurant Awards. Proceeds from the dinner will support Fraser Common Farm, a cooperatively owned and operated farming collective in Aldergrove, BC. The magical 90-seat dinner will showcase local producers and suppliers, including Blue Heron CreameryThe FlouristNichol VineyardAmpersand Distilling Co.Brassneck BreweryDickie’s Ginger Beer, and Level V Bakery among others.

 

Tickets are now on sale here and are priced at $125 (per person) plus tax and gratuity.

 

 

Chef Andrea has several exciting initiatives on the horizon this year, including the launch of her very first cookbook (details soon to come!) as well as a segment on Food Network Canada’s new show, Big Food Bucket List, aired on June 21 (see here). Combined with Glorious Organics’ big win at the Vancouver Magazine Restaurant Awards, this is sure to be a highly anticipated dinner.

Next you will be guided through the fields of Fraser Common Farm to learn about their 40 year agricultural history. This will be followed by a sensational dinner prepared by Chef Carlson, in a stunning and unforgettable setting.
