Hart House Now Taking Reservations for Holiday Dining

With its signature West Coast cuisine and unique lakeside setting, Hart House in Deer Lake Park is a popular spot to celebrate the holidays with family or friends.

The restaurant begins taking reservations for Christmas Eve and Christmas Night Dinner starting October 25, 2019.

Hart House’s Executive Chef Mike Genest will prepare a three-course dinner on both December 24th and 25th. The main course will feature roasted turkey breast with brioche stuffing, smashed potatoes, brussels sprouts, and turkey gravy. Other main course options include AAA beef tenderloin, Pacific sablefish, or a vegetarian haloumi.

Seating times are as follows:
December 24th
First Seating Times: 5:00pm, 5:15pm, 5:30pm, 5:45pm, 6:00pm
Second Seating Times: 7:30pm, 7:45pm, 8:00pm, 8:15pm, 8:30pm, 8:45pm, 9:00pm
December 25th
First Seating Times (Main Floor): 4:00pm, 4:15pm, 4:30pm
Second Seating Times (2nd Floor): 5:00pm, 5:15pm, 5:30pm
Third Seating Times (Main Floor): 6:30pm, 6:45pm, 7:00pm
Fourth Seating Times (2nd Floor): 7:30pm, 7:45pm, 8:00pm

 

Please note that all seating times are allocated 2½ hours from the reservation time. A credit card is required for all bookings, and there will be late cancellation and no-show fee of $30 per person after December 17th. Reservations are available online.

About Hart House Restaurant:

The three-acre estate on which Hart House stands was first purchased by New Westminster businessman Frederick Hart in 1906. Frank Macey designed the Tudor Revival building.
Paul Smolen and three original partners recognized that the house and grounds presented a unique opportunity to create a premier culinary destination.
Hart House Restaurant opened its doors as a restaurant in September of 1988.
In 2000 Paul Smolen took sole ownership of the business along with his wife Carol Smolen.
The combination of lakeside setting, unrelenting drive for fine cuisine, and warm, welcoming service continues to enchant Hart House guests.
