Gastown’s Di Beppe Adds Weekday Lunch Service Throughout December, Pourhouse Channels Prohibition Era During ‘Roaring Twenties’-Inspired New Year’s Eve Soirée
A pair of Kitchen Table Restaurants will give their guests more chances to gather with friends and family and get into the holiday spirit this December by adding weekday lunch service at Ristorante Di Beppe and a ‘Roaring Twenties’ New Year’s Eve Party at Pourhouse.
Weekdays Throughout December | 11:30 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Due to popular demand, authentically Italian caffè-by-day, ristorante-by-night Di Beppe will introduce weekday lunch service for the month of December at the Gastown destination starting on Monday, December 2 with seatings from 11:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. The daytime menu will feature an array of antipasti such as: mushroom bruschetta, burrata and agrodolce beets, kale salad with tuna conserva, and meatballs ‘di beppe’; pizze like ‘anchovy & onion’, ‘fennel sausage, onion, provolone and rosemary’, ‘pepperoni & funghi’, and ‘margherita with fior di latte’ or ‘mozzarella di bufala’; and pasta in pomodoro, amatriciana, carbonara, cacio e pepe, and alici e burro varieties.
Di Beppe is also accepting private group bookings for daytime events on Saturdays and Sundays throughout December at info@nulldibeppe.com. The restaurant will also be open for New Year’s Eve service from 5 to 10 p.m. with limited reservations available online.
POURHOUSE ‘ROARING TWENTIES’ NEW YEAR’S EVE BASH
Tuesday, December 31 | 10 p.m. to 1 a.m.
Partygoers will break out their best costumes and go back by a century to December 31, 1919 when Pourhouse commemorates the last high-spirited, freewheeling night before Prohibition came into effect across the United States in 1920.
Beginning at 10 p.m., guests are encouraged to arrive ‘dressed to impress’ in their best ’20s-era costume before enjoying canapés, a photo booth, live DJ and bubbles at midnight as they raise one last glorious glass to the pre-Prohibition Golden Age of Cocktails. Tickets to the gala celebration are available for $60 per person plus tax at pourhousevancouver.com/
The restaurant will also feature regular dinner service until 9 p.m.
