Celebrate 10 Years of DISH with New Zealand Winegrowers!
Wednesday, April 29, 2020
The BC Hospitality Foundation (BCHF) is pleased to announce its 2020 DISH fundraiser will take place Wednesday, April 29 2020 at Vancouver Convention Centre’s Parkview Terrace. This is the event’s 10th anniversary, and organizers are pulling out all the stops to stage an unforgettable evening that will put the capstone on a decade of good times and successful fundraising.
This year’s DISH sponsor is New Zealand Winegrowers, and 20 New Zealand wineries will be pouring samples that illustrate the astonishing diversity of high-quality wines the country produces. Guests at the reception-style event will be encouraged to experiment when pairing the wines with a selection of bites from over a dozen Vancouver restaurants.
Hosted in partnership with the New Zealand High Commission, DISH will have live music, a silent auction, and the trademark DISH no-holds-barred cocktail competition.  Stay tuned for the names of participating wineries and restaurants.
As always, proceeds from the fundraiser will support the work of the BCHF, which provides assistance for hospitality workers in financial crisis due to extraordinary medical circumstances, as well as operating a scholarship program to foster the next generation of hospitality industry leaders. Tickets are $79 per person (plus processing fees) and are now on sale!
About the BC Hospitality Foundation
The BC Hospitality Foundation (BCHF) is a registered charity that raises funds to support those in the hospitality industry facing financial crisis due to a medical condition. Each year hundreds of hospitality workers across BC face financial challenges and have nowhere else to turn. The BCHF helps them when all other options have been exhausted. In addition, the BCHF offers a scholarship program to foster the development of the next generation of hospitality workers and industry leaders.
