HONEY SALT RESTAURANT TO REOPEN ON WEDNESDAY, JULY 29

Farm-to-table eatery at Parq Vancouver welcomes back diners with all-day Happy Hour service, Thursday & Friday wine promotions, and beloved weekend brunch

One of Vancouver’s favourite dining rooms is back in action this month as Honey Salt announces plans to reopen its doors for daily dine-in service from 7 a.m. – 10 p.m. starting Wednesday, July 29.

Located on the ground floor of the Parq Vancouver complex, the 4,400-sq.-ft. flagship eatery boasts a stylish dining room, cozy lounge and bar area, and a picturesque street-front patio. The contemporary farm-to-table dining concept from renowned restaurateur Elizabeth Blau and Chef Kim Canteenwalla has been a favourite among Vancouver visitors and locals since first opening in 2017. With a focus on sophisticated comfort foods served in a relaxed-yet-elegant setting, Honey Salt’s menus showcase approachable, chef-driven dishes prepared with fresh regional ingredients.

In honour of the restaurant’s reopening, Honey Salt is inviting guests to enjoy the summer season with the return of two popular weekday wine features:

Rosé All Day Thursdays: Wine lovers can drink pink each Thursday with a curated selection of rosé wines from France, Italy, Spain and the Okanagan region available by the glass or by the bottle. Refreshing frozen rosé sangria popsicles are also on deck for a cool treat on warm-weather days.

Wine Down Fridays: Every Friday from 7 to 10 p.m., patrons can relax in the lounge, restaurant, or on the patio while partaking in gourmet wine-and-cheese flights. The perfect way to kick off the weekend, Honey Salt’s signature tasting boards give discerning foodies the chance to nibble on soft, semi-firm and firm artisanal cheeses from Canada and Europe paired with Sommelier-selected wines.

True to its name, Honey Salt’s newly extended All-Day Happy Hour service runs Monday – Thursday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m offering an array of stand-out drink specials. Guests will also be able to enjoy Happy Hour Saturday and Sunday from 3 p.m. – 6 p.m.  The Happy Hour menu includes $6 draft beer, rotating $8 wine features, $5 highballs, and special pricing on classic cocktails.

Starting August 1, Honey Salt will also bring back its beloved Weekend Brunch service. Available on Saturdays and Sundays from 10:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., the popular midday menu comprises contemporary brunch dishes in both sweet and savoury varieties with notable favourites like West Coast Smoked Salmon Benedict, hearty Steak & Eggs and decadent Chocolate-Hazelnut-Stuffed French Toast. To drink, guests can sip on a selection of house-made smoothies, fresh fruit juices, specialty coffee beverages and classic daytime cocktails.

As part of Honey Salt’s phased reopening plan, the restaurant has introduced a number of new health and safety protocols to protect the wellbeing of staff and patrons. Interior and exterior seating areas have been modified to accommodate physical distancing and high-touch surfaces and equipment will be rigorously sanitized on a frequent basis. In accordance with public health guidelines, all employees will be required to wear PPE while on-site and undergo health screenings prior to each shift.
