70 Restaurants Across Calgary to Participate

Calgary’s annual premier dine out festival, YYC Food and Drink Experience is ready to feed the city’s foodies and drink enthusiasts starting on Friday, March 17 to Sunday, March 26, 2023 with 70 of the city’s favourite restaurants set to participate. For 10 days enjoy multi-course prix fixe valued-priced menus at some old favourites and some exciting new restaurants. The festival will also feature one-of-a-kind chef collaborations, wine pairing dinners and other delectable culinary events.

“We are thrilled to have 70 restaurants participating this year, and are excited to bring Calgarians and visitors together to show our support for Calgary restaurants,” says Irena Knorr, Culinary Program Director at Culinary Marketing Strategies. We also have some amazing signature culinary events lined up like collaboration dinners with visiting chefs and themed wine pairing dinners. There’s no better way to explore Calgary’s culinary scene, try new restaurants and find some new favourites.”

Some highlights this year will be Canadian chef JC Poirier of Vancouver’s Michelin-starred St Lawrence with a Cabane á Sucre celebration at River Cafe on March 17, Meet the Rancher at Modern Steak on Saturday, March 18, a Northern Italian popup at Bonterra on the 21st, Alex Chen, Iron Chef winner and Gold Medal Plates champion of Vancouver’s Boulevard Kitchen & Oyster Bar at Teatro for a special Clos de la Oyster Barre on Saturday, March 25 and Top Chef Canada winner Tre Sanderson with a closing brunch at Fortuna’s Row on Sunday, March 26, 2023. Calgary has so many talented chefs to help shine the spotlight on Calgary’s food scene.
