Wildlight Kitchen + Bar partners with Vancouver Island’s Sheringham Distillery for Whisky Launch

Typically reserved for industry folks, Michelin-recommended Wildlight Kitchen + Bar is inviting Vancouverites to join them in celebrating a unique collaboration with Vancouver Island’s acclaimed Sheringham Distillery.

A story of mutual passion for B.C.’s coastal terroir, this partnership comes to life in the form of their Pacific Spirit Whisky, a one-of-a-kind single-cask release with only 90 bottles produced. In honour of the partnership, Wildlight is hosting an exclusive launch party on Wednesday, June 11, featuring passed canapés and a tasting of Sheringham Distillery’s premium spirits, including the new Pacific Spirit Whisky.

Crafted with ingredients hand-selected by Wildlight’s Bar Manager Aman Nijjar and Wine Director Mike Cooke, the whisky was developed in close collaboration with Sheringham’s Master Distiller, Jason MacIsaac, during an immersive on-site tasting session in Sooke, B.C.

Pacific Spirits Whisky features rye spice balanced by winter wheat, vanilla, and barrel smoke, characteristics that pair beautifully with Wildlight’s culinary program, with dishes like their Fraser Valley duck and Macleod’s Leap steak frites.
