2023 Vasanti Reserve Gamay Noir
100% Gamay Noir
Crafted from Gamay Noir grapes from our Paradise Vineyard in Oliver, this year’s crop was harvested at 23.5 brix. The year was off to a slow start, post Spring frost, delaying the growing season. As such, the extreme weather, in addition to a shorter growing season truly gave a unique character to this wine. The wine itself has a fresh, spiced nose of black cherry, raspberry and sweet cedar spice. This wine is comprised of the 7 best barrels of the vintage blended together, lending to a more structured, age-worthy Gamay Noir.

2022 Vasanti Cabernet Sauvignon
100% Cabernet Sauvignon
Made from grapes of both our East Bench and West Bench Vineyards, this year’s crop was harvested at 25 brix. This season began slow, but stayed steady through the course of the year, allowing more time for the grapes to sit on vine and gain complexity. On the nose this wine smells of eucalyptus, ripe black plum, black cherry and star anise. Moving to the palate, expect similar notes with intermingled baking spice and long, savoury finish.
This wine was aged in neutral French and European oak for 30 months.

Crafted with grapes from our East Bench Vineyard, this fruit crop was harvested at 25 brix. The vineyard site these grapes are harvested from is constantly soaked in sun, so with the longer growing season we were able to
draw a lot more complex notes out of the fruit. Expect notes of sweet cedar, blackberries, black plum, mocha, violets and white pepper. This wine has an incredibly long, gripping finish. For maturation, this Syrah spent 24 months in 100% new American oak.

2022 Vasanti Canvas
50% Cabernet Sauvignon, 50% Syrah
In 2022, we had two standout barrels of both Cabernet Sauvignon and Syrah, and decided they fit the profile of a Cab/Syrah blend. The robust fruit of our East Bench Syrah, coupled with the more nuanced notes from our West Bench Cabernet Sauvignon really came to life once blended together. On the nose, expect black plum, black cherry, menthol, with hints of vanilla and warm cedar. Moving to the palate, expect similar notes with the addition of mocha and a saline quality that underlines the fruit notes. The Cabernet Sauvignon in this blend was aged in neutral French and European oak barrels for 30 months, while the Syrah was aged in new American oak for 24 months.
