Tojo’s Restaurant Launches Seasonal Takeout Collection
to Celebrate the FIFA World Cup 2026™ in Vancouver
New limited summer menu features curated Bento Boxes and
premium A5 Miyazaki Wagyu offerings, available for preorder
Tojo’s Restaurant is thrilled to announce the launch of its Ichigo Ichie seasonal takeout collection, a curated selection of Bento Boxes created to mark the arrival of the FIFA World Cup 2026™ in Vancouver.
“After years of anticipation, the FIFA World Cup™ is finally coming to Vancouver, and we are absolutely thrilled to be part of this extraordinary moment,” said Chef Hidekazu Tojo, Owner and Executive Chef of Tojo’s Restaurant. “At Tojo’s, we believe every great occasion deserves great food, and we are celebrating in the way we know best, through the art of the season.”
Yorokobi Bento Boxes
At the heart of the new collection are the Yorokobi Bento Boxes (meaning joy in Japanese), available in three variations: a solo serving, a maki set for two, and a nigiri set for two. Each box showcases a curated assortment of seasonal ingredients, from Wild BC King Salmon and Smoked Arctic Char to delicate Anago and Canadian Sablefish, prepared using traditional Japanese techniques that enhance flavour while allowing the bento to be enjoyed beautifully outdoors and during warm summer weather. Boxes can be ordered in multiples and mixed and matched to accommodate any group size, making them an ideal choice for match-day watch parties, pre-game gatherings, summer picnics, and relaxed evenings at home.

Miyazaki Wagyu
For those seeking a truly luxe experience, the collection also features two limited wagyu offerings showcasing A5 Miyazaki beef, Japan’s most coveted grade, prized for its exceptional marbling, rich umami, and extraordinary tenderness. The Tanoshimi Nigiri presents silken slices of wagyu paired with perfectly seasoned sushi rice and a whisper of fresh scallion. The Gochiso is a refined sharing dish, nestling wagyu atop sushi rice and a delicate tamago crepe.
Availability
All Ichigo Ichie items are available for a limited time only, with a small number prepared fresh each day for pickup, Sunday-Monday and Wednesday-Saturday. Guests are invited to preorder up to one day in advance HERE. Same day orders are available for regular takeaway items.
Tojo’s is open for dinner service Sundays-Mondays and Wednesdays-Saturdays from 5:30PM to 10:30PM, with the last seating at 9:00PM. Reservations are available HERE.
