CheckMate Artisanal Winery, located in Oliver, specializes in producing the highest quality, limited quantities of Chardonnay and Merlot. This year, CheckMate was awarded the first ever back-to-back 100-point scores for a Canadian table wine, with its 2015 and 2016 Little Pawn Chardonnays. With this, CheckMate has now been awarded nearly two-hundred 90+ scores for its portfolio of wines. Guests will enjoy the Advantage Tasting, a 45-minute Sommelier-guided tasting of a curated set of six CheckMate wines. While onsite, guests will experience first-hand the evolution of CheckMate, as the winery is being completely rearchitected and rebuilt into a contemporary new facility that, once complete, will be a work of art on its own that will literally glow up on the hillside.
