Architect and heritage planner Robert Lemon has made a $2-million contribution to the Arts Umbrella Building Campaign in the name of his late partner Robert (Bob) Ledingham. To celebrate Bob’s appreciation of theatre and passion for education, the Robert M. Ledingham School of Theatre & Music will provide young people with access to extensive training opportunities, led by Artistic Director Paul Moniz de Sá.

Mînowin is a new multimedia dance work that integrates narrative, movement, song, performance, and multimedia design, connecting to landscapes from contemporary perspectives of customary Indigenous dance forms.

By popular demand, Show One Productions presents the anticipated return of the world famous, all-male ballet company Les Ballets Trockadero de Monte Carlo (Trocks), onstage February 1, 2020 at 8pm at the Queen Elizabeth Theatre.
Spread throughout two buildings encompassing over 25,000 sq ft, each 1 hour tour is made up of 30 newly departed guests, who, after meeting with their Afterlife Caseworker, will be split up into two groups and sent out to search for the characters and clues needed to reach their next destination.
Australian choreographer Lucy Guerin’s sharp, elegant Split reflects the dilemmas of negotiating with oneself and others in a world of increased pressure and reduced resources.
The Dance Centre’s popular Discover Dance! series features the vibrant beauty of Iranian traditional and folkloric dances, with a performance by the Vancouver Pars National Ballet.
The Shiamak Vancouver Dance Team has performed at major events including the Opening Ceremony of the World Police and Fire Games, the celebration ceremonies of the 2010 Winter Olympics, the We Day event at Rogers Arena in 2012, and the Times of India Film Awards at BC Place in 2013 alongside the biggest stars of Bollywood.
