Chef Kunal Ghose Announces the dobosala cantina & ride thru Grand Opening

Chef Kunal Ghose, Founder of Red Fish Blue Fish and Owner/Operator of the popular Fish Hook restaurants announced today that his new Indo-Pacific concept dobosala cantina & ride thru is now officially open at 750 Pandora St. in downtown Victoria, BC.

From Peru to Japan… Philippines to Haida Gwaii… and Mexico to Korea, flavours, techniques, and dishes from Pacific cultures oceanwide combine with hints and twists from Chef Kunal’s Indian culinary foundation to form dobosala cantina & ride-thru. An Indo-Pacific collaboration of South Asian, Latin, Polynesian, and even Indigenous dishes.

At dobosala, reclaimed wood, concrete, and steel – coupled with Fish Hook’s trademark thoughtful and attentive service – create a relaxed, modern cantina atmosphere perfect for enjoying an array of flavour-punched shareable plates and bowls, local taps, and inventive Indo-Pacific inspired cocktails.

And for hungry customers on the go, dobosala’s innovative “ride thru” window menu is designed with quick service in mind. Tacones, noodle bowls, and cantina-crafted sopas are ideally suited for pedestrians and “pedal”estrians alike.

Open 11 AM till late, Monday to Saturday (with breakfast coming soon), the new restaurant is poised to offer both commuters and Victorians working in the downtown core a new option for lunch, dinner, or refreshing libations. The menu can be found at https://dobosala.com/ and orders can be placed for pick-up at (250) 590-6068 or [email protected].
