Poppadoms is continuing to host their family-style long table dinners into the fall and winter. Drawing on inspiration from the Dosanj family’s 5-week culinary tour of India and family recipes, the dinners will feature different themes or regions of India each session.
The Indian-inspired dinners will take place at Poppadoms restaurant every other Wednesday starting from Wednesday October 7 at 6pm for a 6:30pm dinner. Guests can expect 3 family-style courses with multiple dishes for $35 + tax per person. From serving food using a banana leaf plate and eating with your hands, to eating out of a tiffin lunch kit, each dinner is its own unique experience. These new sets of dinners include chef collaborations, to continue the restaurant’s tradition of pushing the Indian-inspired envelope.
Aman Dosanj said “It’s incredible watching how people interact with each other on a communal table, sharing food, and we’ve been having a lot of fun experimenting so we’ve decided to keep these dinners going. It is such an intimate dining experience where Chef Mum and I cook, host and serve the food, telling stories along the way.”

- October 28: Collaboration with Chopped Canada Winner, Chef Brock Bowes (RauDZ Regional Table)
- November 4: Indo-Italian with Chef Giulio Piccioli (One Big Table)
