TULALIP RESORT CASINO’S JOURNEYS EAST RESTAURANT RINGS IN THE YEAR OF THE MONKEY

 

In celebration of the Chinese New Year, Journeys East at Tulalip Resort Casino will be ringing in the year of the Monkey with dinner specials from February 8 -14 (closed Tuesday, February 9), starting at 5 pm each night. Each dish offered during the week-long New Year’s observance is to symbolically celebrate Chinese culture.

The featured dishes will include Journeys East’s Traditional New Year Fried Fish, a whole Pompano fish served with head and tail intact; Shanghai Stir-Fry Udon with fresh Udon noodles, chicken, cabbage, carrots, and julienne mushrooms; Jang Pong – Spicy Beef and Seafood Noodle Soup of fresh Udon noodles, shrimp, beef, calamari in a Korean style soup; and Hong You Chao Shou – Spicy Wontons filled with pork and shrimp and served in a black vinegar and chili oil sauce. Guests can also order from the full menu that artfully combines the best culinary traditions of Japan, Thailand, China, Korea, and Vietnam.
