Tulalip Resort Casino to Showcase Oktoberfest on September 28
As summer starts to wind down and fall kicks into high gear — beer season will begin with the opening of Oktoberfest. Starting at 7 p.m. on Wednesday, September 28 only, the hilarious film “BeerFest” hits the big screen at Canoes Cabaret to honor the internationally celebrated 16-18 day German folk festival.
Sommelier Tommy Thompson has lined up the ultimate Oktoberfest beer selection from around the globe, such as Georgetown, Deschutes, Ballast Point, Leinenkugel, Hofbräu, Paulaner, and more. Draft Sports Bar and Grill Chef Susan Jensen is also cooking up some tolle (German for amazing) traditional fare with the likes of Jaegerwurst, Knockwurst, Potato Salad, Pretzels with Stone Ground Mustard, and movie theatre snacks.
“There is nothing more fun than hanging with friends, drinking great beer and enjoying some fine German food paired with a riotous, witty movie,” states Executive Chef Perry Mascitti.
Doors open at 6 p.m. with an à la carte beer, wine, and food tasting. Followed by the movie “Beerfest” and a post-film DJ playing dance tunes until 1 a.m. The event is available on a first come, first served basis for guests 21 and over. Prices will vary.
