Chinatown Chicken-and-Rib Joint Serves up Delicious New Southern-fried Food, Drink Specials Available from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.

 

Juke Fried Chicken will bring the love to brunch aficionados when the Chinatown chicken-and-rib joint introduces a selection of new daytime menu items available every weekend from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Juke’s new brunch menu features a number of southern-inspired favourites, including the Juke Breakfast Sandwich (pork sausage, egg, cheese, hashbrown on a biscuit), $7; Biscuits & Sausage Gravy with Honey-Glazed Ham, $14; Chicken Hash with Soft-Boiled Egg (potatoes, chicken, gravy, rotating goodies), $16; Chicken Fried Steak (sausage gravy, two fried eggs), $19; and Chicken & Waffles, $15 for two pieces, $18 for three pieces; as well as snacks and add-ons like Buttermilk Biscuits (whipped schmaltz, fruit preserves), $7; Hangover Fries(cheese sauce, gravy, soft-boiled egg), $9.50; and Corn Chicken Fritters, $7.

Available in Juke’s dining room, the new brunch fare is complemented by a drink menu featuring such housemade cocktails as Breakfast Club (bourbon, rum, cereal milk, spice), $7.50; and Excuse Me Miss (jasmine vodka, lillet, pear, vanilla, lime), $8; Juke Caesars, $9; OJ or Grapefruit Mimosas, $9; Ballin’ Mimosas (with Blue Mountain Vineyards & Cellars Brut), $15; as well as local craft beer available by the pint, bottle and bucket.

“We gave our brunch service a test run during our annual ‘Cluck Your Resolutions’ event on New Year’s Day and the response was incredible,” says Juke General Manager Justin Tisdall, who launched the popular Chinatown chicken-and-rib spot in 2016 with Chef Bryan Satterford and Partner Cord Jarvie. “It’s no secret that this is one town that definitely loves its brunch.”
