Turducken and Cluckin’: Juke Fried Chicken features Turducken Feast, hosts third-annual ‘Cluck Your Resolutions’ Brunch on New Year’s Day

Festive Feature Returns for Holiday Season; Juke Chinatown Welcomes 2019 with DJ, Brunch, Drink Specials on January 1

Juke Fried Chicken will be a crowd pleaser in more ways than one this Christmas season by offering a festive Holiday Turducken Feast perfect for parties and gatherings, and by hosting its third-annual ‘Cluck Your Resolutions’ brunch to ring in 2019 on Tuesday, January 1.

HOLIDAY TURDUCKEN FEAST
Available exclusively for pickup on Sunday, December 23, each Juke Holiday Turducken Feast package feeds six to eight people and includes pre-sliced turducken with stuffing and gravy, large sides of fried Brussels sprouts and herb-roasted potatoes, cranberry sauce, honey roasted squash, and country biscuits with whipped schmaltz. In true Juke fashion, all items except the country biscuits are gluten free.

A limited number of Juke’s Holiday Turducken Feasts are available for $169 plus tax and can be ordered by emailing info@nulljukefriedchicken.com before noon on Thursday, December 20. All orders will be ready for pickup at Little Juke (1074 Davie Street) from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Sunday, December 23.

NEW YEAR’S DAY ‘CLUCK YOUR RESOLUTIONS’ BRUNCH
The day after the clock strikes midnight and the calendar turns to 2019, Juke will give revelers a good reason to forgo their New Year’s pledges for at least one more day when the original Juke location at 182 Keefer Street hosts its third-annual ‘Cluck Your Resolutions’ brunch. From noon to 3 p.m., the event will showcase a DJ spinning tunes and a menu of signature southern-fried brunch specials as well as OJ and Grapefruit Mimosas, Juke Caesars and feature cocktails from Juke’s new bar manager, Olivia Povarchook.

“It’s year three for our ‘Cluck Your Resolutions’ event and it’s one of our favourite days of the year,” says Juke general manager Justin Tisdall, who launched the popular Chinatown chicken-and-rib joint in 2016 with chef and co-owner Bryan Satterford and co-owner Cord Jarvie. “It’s a good excuse to keep the party going and give our guests another day’s grace before they start making and breaking any New Year’s promises.”

HOLIDAY BOOKINGS
Both Juke locations are available for private bookings for those looking for last-minute venues for holiday parties and get-togethers. Juke’s buy-out capacity is 40 people for a sit-down affair and 70 for a stand-up mingler, while Little Juke can accommodate 22 people for sit-down events and 30 for stand-up parties.

Juke and Little Juke will be closed for the holidays from December 24 to 26.
