Picnics and Provisions from Nightingale to you!
After a successful launch to Nightingale’s take-home heat and serve meal program, which includes favourites like our braised meatballs ($26), Maui short ribs ($28), shepherd’s pie ($28), spinach and ricotta lasagne ($25) and Thai coconut soup ($15), we are pleased to expand our take-away options to include the new antipasti picnic platter ($48) with: prosciutto di parma, spicy soppressata, pecorino romano, burrata, radishes, beets, marinated olives, cherry tomatoes, and pickled vegetables, focaccia bread, and sesame & poppyseed crackers. Conveniently packaged in a Nightingale signature pizza box, it’s your perfect solution to summer’s beach picnics and backyard entertaining. Also, as part of our provisions program, you can now purchase our secret recipe: spiced maple syrup ($13), za’atar dressing ($8), and turmeric dressing ($8) to excite your weekday meals at home. All are available for direct order for pickup or delivery through our website. Like our sister restaurants, Hawksworth and Nightingale, Bel Cafe has launched a take-home program so you can recreate your favourite Bel flavours at home. Croissants and pastries can now be ordered flash frozen and ready to be enjoyed on a whim, warm and fresh from your oven at a moment’s notice. Available vacuum-sealed in packages of four, with baking instructions inside and online, offerings include: signature croissants ($5.25), pain au chocolat ($6.75), blueberry scone ($9.25), and raspberry cream turnover ($12.25). Also to be enjoyed are house-made jams, dips, and dressings including: buttermilk vinaigrette ($9.00), lemon vinaigrette ($9.00), roasted garlic hummus ($9.00), and black pepper jam ($8.00). Purchase our take-home items from either of our cafés; located downtown at 801 Georgia Street at Howe, or in Kitsilano at the corner of W. 3rd Avenue and Burrard, you can also pre-order on Ritual, or have items delivered through DoorDash. Our full menu of specialty coffees, pastries, sandwiches, soups, and salads is available for pickup, dine-in and outdoor dining at both locations too.
