McWatters Collection 2018 Chardonnay
Rich and elegant with notes of pineapple, hints of honey, lemon zest and buttered toast, with a lingering dry finish. Enjoy with poultry, seafood, pork and rich creamed pastas, but best when shared with friends (new and old). Ready to drink but will continue to age gracefully at least through to 2022.
McWatters Collection 2017 Meritage
Big, elegant, with soft tannins, well-balanced fruit and oak characteristics with blackberry and cassis overtones. Enjoy with grilled meats, roasts, rich tomato pastas, but best shared with friends (new and old). It is ready to drink now.
This Meritage was crafted with Merlot, Cabernet Franc, Cabernet Sauvignon, and Petit Verdot grapes and matured in small French Oak casks for 15 months.
McWatters Collection
We craft our wines using grapes grown here in the Okanagan Valley, British Columbia. Nature guides our decisions on which grape varieties are best suited to which site.
For us, making wine is about time and place. It’s investing our time: documenting and studying each vintage, paying attention to the vines, and noting that which is discernible only when we take a moment to pause. It also means respecting the land: using mindful farming practices, employing new technologies to reduce our environmental footprint, and listening for the unique qualities of our region’s terroir.
