Guests will learn the finer points of tasting and pairing wines while enjoying bites from the winery’s popular Lookout Restaurant.. Available now, and all summer long by reservation, Match Game and Odd Couple experiences are anything but ordinary, the perfect add-on to a day of wine touring in Lake Country.
“While we take our wine and food program very seriously, we are not quite as strict with ourselves,” shares Jeff Hanson, Regional Estate Manager. “Our team shares a passion for food and wine through a variety of lenses including quality, authenticity, curiosity and creativity. These experiences are all about injecting fun and levity to guests seeking out culinary adventures in the heart of Lake Country.”
A collaborative rethinking of the typical winery experience, Gray Monk teamed up with The Lookout Restaurant’s Executive Chef, Graham Momar to create delicious bites that pair nicely with select wines from the Estate portfolio. Tapping into the deep knowledge of the winery’s experts, the team got creative to uncover unexpected flavour harmonies that are both informative and interactive. Match Game and Odd Couple are the result of the Gray Monk team eating, tasting and laughing the whole way through and it shows. Too much fun to keep just to themselves, the culinary adventures are now open to winery visitors.
Reservations recommended.
