Spirit of Hospitality Lottery Returns With 20 Prize Packages
for BCHF’s 20th Anniversary
8th annual lottery launches Sept. 23 with new experiences
The BC Hospitality Foundation (BCHF) is continuing its 20th anniversary with the return of the Spirit of Hospitality Lottery and 20 remarkable prize packages celebrating some of the best of hospitality, travel, food and adventure.
The 8th annual Spirit of Hospitality Lottery officially launches Sept. 23, with ticket sales running through Nov. 4 and the final draw taking place Nov. 5. This year’s goal is to raise $100,000 to support BC hospitality and tourism workers facing financial hardship due to a health challenge.
The lottery follows BCHF’s milestone 20th Anniversary Gala, which brought together longtime supporters and introduced many new people to the Foundation and its work. Over the past 20 years, BCHF has provided more than $1.28 million in financial assistance to 340 hospitality and tourism workers and their families.
Now, BCHF is inviting British Columbians to mark their calendars for the next opportunity to support the people who make the province’s hospitality and tourism industry possible.
The 2026 Spirit of Hospitality Lottery is regionally supported by Castanet, the official media partner for this year’s campaign, helping BCHF bring the lottery and its mission to audiences across British Columbia.

20 prize packages for 20 years
Thanks to the generosity of businesses and partners across the hospitality and tourism industry, this year’s lottery features more than $35,000 in prizes, with three Early Bird draws and 17 grand prize packages.
The 2026 lineup includes several new packages and experiences, alongside returning favourites.
Highlights include:
The Ultimate Rocky Mountain Adventure, featuring a two-day Rocky Mountaineer journey for two and a two-night stay at The Westin Calgary
A Kelowna Experience, a new Okanagan package featuring a stay at The Royal Kelowna, a West Kelowna wine tour and a private Kelowna Yacht Club boat experience
Victoria by Air & Sea , featuring Helijet flights, two nights at Inn at Laurel Point, Butchart Gardens admission and dining at Blue Crab Seafood House
The Ultimate Tofino Escape , a new package featuring three nights at the iconic Wickaninnish Inn
Luxury Wine Country Retreat, featuring two nights at Spirit Ridge and a VIP experience at Hester Creek Estate Winery
Vancouver Island Golf & Coastal Getaway, featuring Tigh-Na-Mara Seaside Spa Resort and Crown Isle Resort
Penticton Lakeside Escape, featuring two nights at Penticton Lakeside Resort, an experience at Evolve Sparkling House and dining at Kin & Folk
Additional prizes showcase Vancouver, Whistler, Tofino, Vancouver Island and the Okanagan, with hotel stays, exceptional dining, golf, sightseeing and outdoor adventures among the experiences available to win.

BCHF provides critical financial assistance quickly and discreetly, helping workers and their families through those difficult periods.
The Spirit of Hospitality Lottery gives British Columbians an easy way to support that work while also having the chance to win memorable experiences donated by the industry.
