BC handcrafted vodka. Soda. Lemon. And nothing else.
There’s an endless array of alcoholic drinks available in a can, but Nütrl Vodka Soda is a true innovation in the category: a clean, classic, premium vodka soda made without sugar, sweeteners, additives, or preservatives of any kind. Nütrl took its award-winning super-premium BC craft vodka and carefully blended it with soda and natural lemon, then wrapped it in their signature, sleek black and white, for easy summer sipping at home, in the nightclub, or outside in the sunshine.
Unlike other coolers which are sweetened, flavoured and made with mass-produced spirits, Nütrl Vodka Soda is made using outstanding small-batch handcrafted vodka, soda water, and natural lemon for a flavour that’s notably cleaner, lighter, and—yes—more neutral.
The secret of Nütrl Vodka Soda lies in starting with famously smooth and clean-tasting Nütrl Vodka so that no sugars or sweeteners or artificial flavours are needed to mask. That’s why Nütrl Vodka Soda is wildly light, easy drinking, additive-free and totally refreshing. At only 98 calories in each 355ml can, it’s the perfect change up from the usual sugary-sweet coolers.
Expected to be available to retail by August 21st, Nütrl Vodka Soda is just the latest outstanding product from Goodridge & Williams, Canada’s top selling and fastest growing craft distillery. Drinkers can grab a six-pack knowing that their dollars go back into the local economy through this 100% BC owned-and-operated company.
Nütrl Vodka Soda: This. Changes. Everything.

Where does the 98 calories come from in Nutrl vodka soda?
Alcohol itself has calories. So the more alcohol content in an otherwise calorie free drink, the more calories it has.
Are you looking to export to the southern hemisphere?
Is this gluten free

Great product, but not that easy to find in the stores over in Victoria. Some private stores have it and some government stores carry it. I have to call ahead to a store to see if they have any in stock.
The main difference between Nutrl and it’s current competition “Nude” is that Nutrl does not add any preservatives, while “Nude” adds two chemical preservatives to it’s product. And as we know Preservatives are not healthy for us in our bodies at any level. And besides that…..Nutrl is in a can which,in itself is already the preservation method. I’ve never understood why people add preservatives to an already naturally preserved product? It’ makes no sense at all. Anything put into an air tight can and sealed will last for ages. No need for additional preservatives. Anyhow, I buy Nutrl because of this fact that it has no preservatives added to it, and I can’t stand Sugary sweet coolers.
I was in a store recently and sampled the competitor “Nude” that came out first. So I decided to do some research….every can on the refreshment area had preservatives but nutrl. So I asked the sampling guy and he mentioned that they have 10x less the preservatives, and that alcohol is a preservative to begin with. I asked the guy then, why even have a preservative in your can. He explained that it was a safety thing so invade it gets contaminated with yeast the preservatives help with the contamination. So I looked at every cab again and found SIDS Something else which I enjoy a lot!!! It too is made by the same company as Nutrl and has the following ingredients, carbonated water, vodka, cane sugar, citric acid, natural and artificial flavour, sodium citrate, potassium sorbate and colour. I was shocked to see all those ingredients in a can, especially from the same company. So I asked the manger and he informed me there has been two incidents where Nutrl got recalled due to their lids coming off. It’s all confusing but it seems like it’s a marketing ploy. I like both nutrl and nude
IPO anytime soon?
Please tell me it’s made with corn vodka, not grain vodka. They just took my favorite Nude Vodka soda’s away from the private liquor store in my town to replace with these, and i don’t see gluten free on this article or on the cans like the nude vodka sodas 🙁
We’ll ask and let you know.
Did you get an answer if this is gluten free?
Yes we did and here is what they told us “Nütrl Vodka Soda is 100% gluten free. Also the ONLY vodka soda made without preservatives”
Reply To Rae: The website for Nutrl states that their Vodka is indeed a Grain Vodka, so it is not likely “Gluten Free”, however it is preservative free, unlike “Nude” which adds TWO nasty chemical crystalin preservatives to the product.
Vodka, regardless of whether it’s made with corn or grain, has no gluten. Gluten is a protein contained inside the grain itself, and those proteins do not survive the distilling process.
What liquor store was this at? And as far as I know they are not corn based
Distilling removes the gluten from the grain. So yes, gluten free. But all distilled alcohol are.
Alcohol in itself is gluten free. HOWEVER be very careful about what you consider gluten free. Many products contain additives that are NOT gluten free!
