brunch and tasting menu
This Mother’s Day, Cibo Trattoria will mark the special occasion with Solo per te… (“Just for you…”) brunch and dinner celebrations that include complimentary flowers for all Moms in attendance.
From 7 a.m. – 2 p.m. on Sunday, May 11, Executive Chef Faizal Kassam presents a delicious array of brunch dishes created with locally sourced ingredients, including smoked sablefish with house-made pancakes, maple crème fraîche and fennel salad ($15); poached eggs with prosciutto, grilled focaccia, greens, aged balsamic and parmesan ($13); and brioche french toast with pancetta and bourbon-aged maple syrup ($12). For those wishing to celebrate Mom with a champagne toast, mimosas will be offered at $5 each.
From 5 p.m. onwards, a special four-course tasting menu – listed below – will be available for $59 per person or $89 per person including wine pairings by GM/Wine Director Robert Stelmachuk.

Bar Manager Lauren Mote has just crafted two new cocktails that Mom is sure to enjoy, including the Canary(Chamomile Flowers influenced Vodka, Aperol, Lillet, Lemon, Peach Syrup, Clingstone Peach Bitters and Prosecco) and Dr. Who (Odd Society’s “East Van” Vodka and Creme de Cassis, Fino Sherry, Lemon Juice, Peach-Tea Syrup and Bittered Sling Clingstone Peach Bitters).
