The Installation @ CheckMate

The Installation – Opening Late July 2017

Designed by Tom Kundig

The Installation is an intriguing art exhibit in its own right.  A modern, innovative design by Tom Kundig, internationally renowned architect.  This study was conceived to allow visitors to slow down and connect with Checkmate Artisanal Winery while discovering and tasting what many consider to be the best wines from the Okanagan Valley.

CheckMate Artisanal Winery is not normally open to the public.  Beginning this July, for a limited time only, visitors will have the rare opportunity to taste our Chardonnay and Merlot wines with the winery team.

CheckMate Roadshow

Recently our winemaker, Phil McGahan and wine writer Anthony Gismondi

, toured Vancouver, Calgary, Toronto and Montreal presenting our 2014 Chardonnays against world class Chardonnays from around the globe. You can see the results of the comparative tastings for yourself from Toronto’s highly respected wine writers, Tony Aspler and Chris Waters.

In case you missed them, here are John Schreiner’s thoughts on our 2014 Chardonnays.

Large Formats

Did you know we produce 1.5L, 3L and 6L large format bottles?

Our 2013 Chardonnay and 2013 Merlot large format bottles are drinking beautifully.

The 3 & 6L large format bottles are beautifully etched, making them the perfect unique gift for special occasions.  These remarkable bottles are limited release, and individually numbered.  Large formats are also available for our 2014 Chardonnays.

View large formats by first selecting a wine here, and clicking on its photo for more sizing options.
