Starting April 18th, join us for our Seafood Sessions taking place every Thursday during happy hour.  We are inviting our local fishermen, shellfish farmers and partners to join us every week to share a drink, some stories and maybe a few tips and tricks on how to bring a little more seafood into your life.  Stayed tuned for information on upcoming events!

Spring is here and we are ready for the warm weather!

Our patio will be opening later this month so you can savour delicious seafood while soaking up the sunshine right in the heart of Gastown surrounded by all the
neighbourhood buzz.

A TASTE OF COQUILLE AT HOME

Chef Lee is dishing out his recipe for our grilled & broiled oysters so you can try them at home on the grill at your spring barbecues.

Grilled & Broiled Oysters Recipe

Ingredients:

Pacific oysters
Garlic butter
Bread crumbs
Lemon

Method:

Shuck the oyster and release the meat from the bottom of the shell
Place them level directly on a grill
Cook the oyster 2-3 minutes or until bubbling
Put a large spoonful of garlic Butter in each shell
(enough to completely fill the oyster shell)
Place under a broiler until the butter is melted
Top with breadcrumbs and place under broiler until golden brown
Serve with a lemon wedge

  1. Great piece, I love this place, it has received some unwarranted bad press early on imho. Love sharing the large seafood platter with a pitcher or two of craft beer on the patio with friends!
