Fort Berens Spring vineyard update and library wines offer

Spring Vineyard Update

Bud break is continuing in our vineyard. Some blocks have gone through bud break and some are at the beginning of bud break. It’s wonderful starting to see this growth. It’s such a special time of renewal and fresh new beginnings in the vineyard. In addition, the first bunches of Cabernet Sauvignon have started forming in our Red Rock Vineyard.

The season has started out very dry, with no significant rain since January and only 80mm in total so far for the year, so we have started our irrigation already. We have had decent, but not very high temperatures, so far this season. If you are on Facebook or Instagram, keep an eye out on our posts for updates on what’s happening in the vineyard and winery at this time of year.

Library Wines Offer

With each vintage of wine we make, we set aside a small number of bottles that we age in our wine cellar. As time goes on, these wines age and develop new complexities and characteristics.

We have curated a spring mini-vertical of library wines exclusively for our Discovery Club members. If you are not yet a Discovery Club member, find out all of the benefits of joining here.

This pack is a great choice if you are looking to enjoy some special library wines on your patio, or as a way to celebrate with loved ones once we are able to gather again. This six-bottle package includes one bottle of each of the following wines:

Chardonnay – 2011, 2012 and 2013
Meritage – 2011, 2012 and 2013

All six are award-winning wines. All three vintages of Chardonnay won at least a Silver Medal in a wine competition, and the Chardonnay 2012 was named the Best Wine in Show at Cornucopia in 2013.

The Meritage 2011 won two Silver Medals and two Bronze Medals. The Meritage 2012 won Gold and Best in Class with 91 points at the Los Angeles International Wine & Spirits Competition in 2014. The Meritage 2013 won Gold with 90 Points at the Los Angeles International Wine Competition in 2015.

We have recently tasted all of these wines. For updated tasting notes, click the links for each wine here.

The price for this exclusive library pack is $229.50 (excluding taxes and shipping, including your 15% Discovery Club discount). If you are not yet a Discovery Club member, join here and then you can purchase this exclusive library wines offer.

We are down to our final two cases of a number of these library wines, so please note that there are only 20 packs available. Click here to order  this spring mini-vertical of library wines.
