#MarketMonday with Nidhi’s Cuisine

Organic Locally Sourced Vegetarian Cuisine. Since 2008. Fine. Fresh. Flavourful.

 

Nidhi’s Cuisine makes and bakes samosas, empanadas, gluten free sweet and savoury cakes (some are vegetable base like patties) and chutneys.

They attend Whistler Farmers Markets and a few Pemberton markets as a service for their community as the market is tiny!

 

In Vancouver you can find them at the following markets spread throughout the year:

 

Winter: Nat Bailey/Riley Park VFM/PNE

 

Summer: Trout Lake and West End Markets at least once a month.   Kitsilano Markets but only in May and June if there are dates available.

 

They use a commercial kitchen run by a grocery store in Whistler to make and bake their samosas, empanadas and gluten free cakes. They also supply the grocery store with their samosas as well.

 

The bulk of their work is in summer with the winter being a quieter period.  Retail supply is .0001%!!

 

We are based in Pemberton, B.C, and use locally sourced ingredients in all our fillings, especially organic Pemberton potatoes.

Our products are available at “The Grocery Store” and “Alpine Cafe” in Whistler.

We feature vegetable produce from the following farms:

~ Armpit Spring Orchards
~ Camelback Harvest

“I love the markets and my vendor community that supplies local and fresh produce.  I do my best to showcase Pemberton organic potatoes in the samosas and source as much produce at the markets I attend be it Pemberton or the Lower Mainland.”
