SAKE FEST COLLABORATIVE DINNER

Boulevard Executive Chef Roger Ma and Pastry Chef Kenta Takahashi will embark on a culinary collaboration with local chef Yuji Otsuka of Yuji’s From Japan for a very special Sake Dinner on Sunday, September 30 at 7 p.m. as part of the 2018 Vancouver Sake Week celebrations.
Highlights of the five-course menu that will served in Boulevard’s elegant private dining room include Otsuka’s deluxe ‘battera’ tian of Hokkaido scallop, otoro and avocado, Ma’s dry aged Berkshire pork smoked in rice hay and Takahashi’svacherin. Dishes will be paired with nine artisan sakes including Fraser Valley Junmai Nigori Renaissance, Sho Chiku Bai Sparkling ‘MIO’ and Cedar Barrel Aged Kikumasamune Junmai Taru, among others. Tickets to the event are available for $139 per person plus tax and gratuity.
THE MACALLAN WHISKY DINNER

Whisky lovers can take part in an ultra-exclusive showcase for single malts and journey through the Scottish highlands when Executive Chef Roger Ma prepares a custom four-course menu to accent the celebrated tradition and innovation of The Macallan as the distillery takes centre stage at Boulevard on Wednesday, October 10 at 7 p.m.
During the event, Ma will pair dishes such as clay-baked king salmon wrapped in Macallan-soaked fig leaves and bacon-wrapped saddle of venison with seven varieties of The Macallan’s world-renowned whiskies, including Macallan 15 Year Old, Edition No. 3, Rare Cask and Reflexion. Tickets to the dinner are available for $149 per person plus tax and gratuity.
THANKSGIVING DINNER SERVICE

On Sunday, October 7 and Monday, October 8, Boulevard will add a decidedly elevated flair to the traditional Thanksgiving dinner feast by preparing a three-course menu that features a butternut squash velouté as appetizer, roasted Fraser Valley turkey with all the elegant fixings as the main course and apple tart for dessert. The special two-day Thanksgiving dinner menu — which can also be accompanied by wine pairings selected by Boulevard Wine Director JP Potters — is available for $74 per person plus tax and gratuity, with all three exclusive Thanksgiving dishes also available à la carte.
