On Thursday, June 6th, Dockside Restaurant will be hosting Monte Creek Ranch Winery for an intimate long-table winemaker’s dinner on its famous waterfront patio.
Dockside’s new Executive Chef Zach Steele (ex-Water St. Café) will present a five-course menu to be paired with selections from Monte Creek’s portfolio of outstanding BC wines. Monte Creek GM Erik Fisher and winemaker Galen Barnhardt will be on hand to discuss the wines and their estate winery. A recent addition to the team, Chef Zach has brought his fresh-and-local approach to Dockside and the five-course menu will showcase the best and freshest local ingredients
Monte Creek Ranch Winery is a pioneer, cultivating grapes and making wines just 10 minutes outside Kamloops, in the province’s newest winemaking region. Monte Creek is true to the original ranchers and settlers of the Thompson River region, growing a wide range of grape varietals on 75 acres of vineyards alongside its working cattle and horse ranch. Visitors to the winey, located just off the Trans-Canada Highway, can also enjoy ranch-sourced products like natural honey and haskap berry jam and explore the natural and organic farming practices which are integral to their winemaking.
