Phantom Creek Estates’, Okanagan Valley’s luxury destination winery situated on the Black Sage Bench, new March offerings including family-style dining experiences and an updated tasting room menu featuring seasonal food and wine pairings.
Phantom Creek’s new ‘Steak Night’ dinner series celebrates the time-honored steakhouse dinner tradition and will be held on March 6, 13, 20 and 27. The specialty three-course menu includes dishes such as freshly shucked oysters with a yuzu mignonette and a 12oz AAA dry-aged ribeye from Pine Haven Colony in Alberta with fingerling potatoes. On Sundays, March 7, 14, 21 and 28, the winery will be hosting a ‘Sunday Roast’ lunch series catered to loved ones that wish to spend the afternoon together gathered around the table sharing good food and wine. The three-course menu includes dishes such as a roasted Farmcrest chicken stuffed with foie gras and black truffle and a fresh rhubarb tart for dessert. Additionally, starting March 4, Phantom Creek’s tasting room will offer a new sunchoke dip as an add-on seasonal wine pairing to any wine tasting experience. The vegetarian, lactose-free dip is served with house-made flatbread but can be substituted for gluten free crackers. The delicious new dip pairs perfectly with Phantom Creek Estates’ celebrated 2018 Viognier, 2017 Kobau Merlot and 2017 Petite Cuvee.
